Kat Hammock is a 23 year-old singer-songwriter from Encinitas, California. Most known for her appearance on Season 17 of NBC's “The Voice”, Kat was a member of Blake Shelton's team and placed 5th on the show. In addition to receiving guidance from Shelton during her time on “The Voice”, Kat also had the privilege of being mentored by Taylor Swift and Darius Rucker. She has 10+ years of choral experience, which has led her to sing on stages like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Kat has been writing songs since she was 14, and releasing them since her sophomore year of high school, back in 2017. Her debut album, "Better Than I've Been" was released on streaming platforms in October, 2022. Kat also has a deep love for Catholic liturgical music. She has recorded 20+ hymns for the Catholic app Hallow, each featuring an original piano + vocal arrangement. Kat is currently pursuing her last year of education at the University of Virginia, where she also directs music for the Catholic Hoos. Her sophomore album, “Ready When You Are” will be out on all platforms April 26th, 2024.
